As part of our Summer Giveaway, residents of Canada have a chance to win this beautiful metal straw (along with a bamboo toothbrush and pantyliners) from @greenrevolucia – all you have to do is share this post and comment below with what you’re doing to enjoy summer!
We have used many different types of straws: paper, metal and glass. While we sell our own straws that have a bend in them, this straight metal straw feels solid and is made with high quality stainless steel. The opening is slightly larger than the typical metal straw and it has a beautiful, easy to clean brush with a soft bristle, to accompany it.
A tad bit heavier than the typical straw, there will be no bending or denting this straw. The best part we’ve noticed is that when we’re drinking our cold beverage, the straw helps to keep it cool right up to your lips.
Europe friends, check out @greenrevolucia to place your order and keep plastic straws out of our waterways, oceans and parks!

Plastic Free July is fun! and picnics are a great way to get out and enjoy the day without creating waste 🙂
I am enjoying the summer by relaxing and going on long walks with my dog, and also learning about zero waste options! Trying to convert my lifestyle to a more sustainable one, slowly but surely!
I would love to win a reusable straw! I have been riding my bike and trying to make the most of every day.
I have also been composting and I joined freecycle. I have been decluttering and free cycling things I don’t need or want to people who will use them.
What a lovely review. I have seen these at the Health Food store. They look like a great idea. I have moved all plastic lunch containers and plastic drink containers out of the house ( donated). Have bought all stainless steel. All my pots and baking sheets are now stainless steel as well. I also have a dehydrator now, so ever bit of food is used up. Dehydrating food leather from garden strawberries as I type. Enjoying your blog.
My summer? Trying to go as often as possible to the beach.
